Features
This product, worn by a trainee provides practical training of intravenous blood sampling and intravenous infusion.
The body of the pad is thin and provides a comfortable fit. In addition, the thinness of the pad helps trainees to easily position their hands so that they can insert a needle smoothly.
The simulated vein has no blood vessel wall which results in a realistic feeling as the vein is punctured.
A metal mesh is fitted onto the base of the pad for safety considerations.
A Velcro fastener is provided on the belt, to ensure an easy, snug fit.
The use of the syringe and stopcock to apply pressure to the simulated blood in the vein, ensures the flush-back.
